God's Squad CMC History |
| God's Squad was established in the late 1960's in Sydney and founded on a broader basis, under the leadership of John Smith, in Melbourne in 1972, where the colours have flown ever since. The original Brisbane chapter flew colours briefly in 1979. The club primarily exists to minister among the 'outlaw biker fraternity' and associated groups, where it is an accepted and relevant expression of the Christian church. Since it's birth, out of the counter culture Jesus movement days of the late 60's it has continued, over three decades, to devote it's efforts amongst those on the fringes of society. The Brisbane Chapter was re-established in 1995 after merging with Christ's Ambassadors, a Christian Motorcycle Club which had been together since 1984 and who saw the benefits of belonging to a larger National and International Club.
